Agriculture
Agriculture and horticulture industries around the world know LPG as both the ‘growing’ fuel and the ‘greener’ fuel. The ‘growing’ fuel because of its versatile properties which mean it is ideal for keeping greenhouses warm, and the ‘greener’ fuel thanks to its cleaner burning properties which ensure that plants are not harmed by dangerous fumes. Greenhouse heating, flame weeding, crop drying, waste incineration and powering equipment are among the many other ways that LPG is used in agriculture. There is additional scope for LPG to partially replace certain harmful chemicals, traditional fuels and fire wood in agriculture.
The AEGPL is the European LPG Industry Association and its mandate is
to communicate on the benefits of LPG to European policy makers, please
