• Did you know?

In a recent study conducted by the World LP Gas Association “LP Gas: Efficient Energy for a Modern World', the following facts were established:
    • In nearly all the regions analysed, LPG was the most efficient fuel for cooking
    • LPG was found to have higher efficiency than natural gas fuelled distributed power generation which makes it ideal for rural homes and businesses
    • LPG was among the two most efficient energy options across a wide variety of technology configurations
    • LPG was consistently among the most efficient water heating option across the regions examined

    Did you know?

    • There are more than 1000 applications of LPG
    • LPG is the most widely used alternative automotive fuel in Europe
    • LPG is distributed through a network of 17,500 filling stations to fuel more than 4 million vehicles in Europe
    • LPG’s volume is 270 times smaller when in a liquid state

    Did you know?

    • An LPG furnace can heat air up to 25 degrees warmer than one powered by other fossil fuels
    • LPG tankless water heaters can reduce standby energy loss by up to 20%, reducing the cost of operation by about 60%
    • LPG appliances have a shorter energy savings payback period, that is the period of time it takes for an appliance to pay for itself through energy savings

    Did you know?

    • Based on the most authoritative, consistent date available, LPG worldwide and in Europe  is a lower carbon fuel compared to its main competitors
    • In terms of combustion emissions, LPG generates 17% less CO2 than heating oil and 56% less than anthracite coal
    • LPG emits 6.8 tonnes CO2/year when heating an 140M2 house in France consuming 25K kWH/year, compared to the equivalent figure for coal being 9.6 tonnes CO2/year and for fuel oil 7.5 tonnes CO2/year
    • LPG facilitates the development of renewable energy since it serves as a cleaner back-up for intermittent renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, small hydro and geo-thermal

    Did you know?

    • Based on the most authoritative and consistent data available LPG in Europe generates a low local-air quality footprint. Compared to the other main fuels in its five primary applications, LPG’s LAQ footprint is consistently at the lower-end of the range.
    • LPG generates 95% less particulate matter and 60% less NOX than wood
    • It also generates 96% less NOX than diesel and 68% less NOX than petrol
