
LPG can be used throughout the home; as a gas to cook with, a source of fuel for central heating and hot water as well as powering air conditioning systems. In the garden it can be used to power the barbeque, to heat swimming pools, heat the greenhouse and for drying clothes. In addition LPG can be used in portable warm air blowers and refrigeration systems.

Further from home LPG can also be used as a fuel on boats because of
its compact size. Camper vans and caravans will almost certainly have a
canister onboard. Campers when cooking their food in the middle of a
forest or halfway up a mountain regularly take a small LPG cylinder
with them.
